Driven by curiosity and creativity, Jacqueline thrives on challenges and specializes in developing groundbreaking formulas. She collaborates with candy producers eager to push boundaries and create products that have never been seen before. Her formulation expertise spans a wide array of categories, including nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, nootropic, pre- and post-workout (protein and creatine), cannabis, psilocybin, kratom, sugar-free, and vegan gummies. She is particularly adept in sugar-free formulation and is known for solving common issues like crystallization and textural instability.
Jacqueline has developed proprietary formulations for several industry leaders. One of her key innovations is a custom-built potency calculator that enables her to create accurate, active-stable gummy batches with minimal trial and error—streamlining the R&D process and reducing costs.
Supporting Jacqueline is Chief Operating Officer Sarah Mann. With over 15 years of experience as a producer, director, choreographer, and performer, Sarah brings a strong background in creative leadership and business operations. She is the founder of The Madmann production company and Madmann’s Playground, a circus dinner theater experience. Sarah has also been a Pilates and fitness instructor for over 20 years. While new to the candy world, her exceptional organizational skills, leadership experience, and interpersonal talents are invaluable to House of 1000 Candies.
Together, Jacqueline and Sarah offer a rare combination of innovation, precision, and creative flair—helping candy producers turn visionary ideas into successful, scalable products.
House of 1000 Candies is a female-owned and operated consulting firm serving large-scale producers in the candy industry. At the helm is Jacqueline Almond, a seasoned Formulation Expert in candy R&D and “Gummy Sorceress.”
With over five years of experience at Endose Molds—and four of those as their lead Formulation Expert—Jacqueline brings a unique blend of culinary, artistic, and scientific expertise to the gummy world. Her background as a chef, her experience in launching a plant-based skincare line (Witch Oil), and her education in art school have all contributed to her innovative and highly successful approach to candy formulation.
Jacqueline began her career in candy manufacturing on the production floor, where her deep knowledge of herbs, extracts, and supplements (honed through skincare development) quickly propelled her into formulation. Her grasp of color theory also allows her to create visually stunning gummies—no matter the active ingredients involved.
